Good news for classic car enthusiasts looking to get a good return on their vintage motor – European markets are offering a “great return” on investments made before 2008, when the value of the euro was just under  €1.50 to the pound. John Glynn, Older Car Editor at Glass’s, said “cars that might benefit from such a scenario could include anything from a 1980 Ferrari 308 GTB to an early 90s BMW M3 Cabriolet”, according to the Telegraph website.

Aston Martin has always oozed class and sophistication, but finally the marque has received the well deserved title of coolest brand in Britain, according to the BBC website. The Warwickshire –based company took top spot in the Cool Brands list for 2010, knocking iPhone off the top spot.

The sight of two stunning supercars clamped with those hideous bright yellow metal triangular plates is enough to bring tears to your eyes – then again it could be the gaudy bright blue paintjob that should be blamed for making them water. The Top Gear website has reported that the two super-exclusive exotics were clamped right outside Harrods in central London, with a collective value of around £1.8 million.
